OK, this is not a thread about the monarchy per se, that you are either for or against.

I was just interested in your thoughts about HRH.

Personally. I think she has done a pretty decent job, hardly put a foot wrong in sixty years and not been involved in anything controversial,.... except maybe staying at Balmoral for a few days when Diana died, and public opinion went against her for a short while.

She's done an excellent job and I do oppose the Monarchy as an institution.

From what i can gather, she likes to keep the peace between the uk and tropical pacific islands by visiting them once a month, so they don't start throwing coconuts at us.

When your job is basically reading out a speech, someone has written for you, once a year and shaking hands with people, without looking too bored the rest of the time, is it that hard to do a good job?

That said, her husband manages to fuck it up from time to time. But I think he probably does that on purpose just to relieve the boredom.
