This short TV ad has been kicking up a right stink in the U.S. apparently. What do you think?
A white man handing out fried chicken to calm West Indian cricket fans down?
The yanks obviously don't get cricket, but it looks a bit dodgy to me.

is this a wind-up? surely their marketing team have just made a complete disaster here..

one of KFC's biggest demographics in The USA are african-americans, or should i say "southern fried chicken" as this recipe was originally slave food with ideas eventually stolen by corporations.

This advert claims that if loads of non-whites are going crazy around you just show them a bucket of fried chicken and they'll all calm down...

Disgraceful, how would you all feel if a video shown loads of white guys all going crazy at a football match then some black guy undresses his 5yr old daughter and every white guy all sits down and perves on the little kid?
After all every white man is a peadophile right?

No, wrong! just like not every nonwhite person enjoys KFC.

Haha, I was walking my dog with my girlfriend the other day, I saw a black sheep, started singing the song and she said orrrr your racist. I was thinking wtf! It's a song thats been around forever! Who the fuck is baaa baaa kind sheep! To me that's even more racist, basically saying the black one never existed!!!

I agree to a point. The original intention was probably a humourous look at a cricket match and not racially motivated, however as you say, they haven't looked very deeply into their own demographic or even thought about slavery. It was meant for solely the Aussie market, but with the internet, everything is global and the agency who made this want sacking as do the KFC marketing people. The lack of thinking behind this ad is astounding.

I don't get that paedo analogy though, a bit mad that.
 
Why is it, these days, if black man/woman and white man/woman are shown together and they're not shagging, is it deemed racist.

Its rife mate, and fucking complete bullshit. No ba ba black sheep, no blackboard. Don't celebrate christmas 'too much' incase you offend muslims. Don't do this, don't do that, pretend you don;t actually come from the country in the first place and what we'll do in return is open the floodgates to all and sundry so they can came in and, for example, rampage through town and Wilmslow Road when they celebrate Eid, (sp). Complete bollox and if I have another kid, I will teach it ba ba BLACK sheep. Fuckind kind sheep my arse, whoever heard of a kind sheep?!!! Next they'll be banning black pudding. it will be called something bollox like 'pudding which is not white'
