Fifa legacy fund 'shameful' says Amnesty

Fifa says £39.4m of the proceeds it generated will be invested in social programmes across various regions, in collaboration with the hosts, World Health Organization, World Trade Organization, and the United Nations Refugee Agency.

Wow, under £40 million of the £6bn they made from the World Cup. If that was a tax (which of course, they didn't pay), it would be 0.66%. Absolutely none of this money is going to compensate the families of the 400-500 people that the organisers admit died during the construction.

Sadly, the threshold for claiming something is a charitable endeavour to avoid tax is quite low or minus 'expenses'. FIFA are corrupt to the core.
