The red and black away shirt

it is a horrid fit, and i agree with all the fluff and shit stickin to it, the away kit from last year/this years 3rd kit had exactly the same problem, so annoying!

Yeah, I have this damn problem with mine (3rd kit/last seasons away). Fluff just gathers on it and diminishes the colour. Anyone got any tips on how to get rid of it, or am I stuck with the roller?
 
Maybe I'm just abit too cool for school, but I stopped wearing football kits when I was 15. I don't mind the retro ones from the 60's and 70's, but buying a new kit every season and having a name ironed onto the back, thats for the kids down the park, not Daddies.

Nothing against other people wearing them, it's just not my thing, like the blokes who paint their faces during the world cup. Don't get it at all.
 
i havent got a lint roller so have to use bastard brown tape!, not the easiest of things to do unless you have help haha

I like it but I don't love it. I think this was a clear case of 'over-thinking' a kit.

Just plunk some red and black stripes on that nice new Umbro cotton shirt template they use and keep the sleeves the way they should run. It could have been one of our very best ever. Missed opportunity imo.
 
at first I thought it was down to washing the shirt with other stuff like a towel which was makin it attract all the fluff n shit but I've even washed it on its own and its still the same!
 
Got mine a few weeks ago but not worn it yet. However, I did try it on before buying it and it fits me better than most of the other shirts - maybe it suits me better than most because I'm a weird shape!

I think the design is spot on and better than all our other red and black ones we've attempted since the original all those years ago.

As for the "fluff" problem, I'll have to wait and see what happens regarding that.
