Was gonna try it tonight. Or would you go to the plaza or the pearl.

Never been in but have ran past it a few times and wondered myself what it is like but wouldn't go in on principle of it being red

Indian Ocean is deffo the best around this area although it is more expensive too.
Pearl is supposed to be good but I've never been in - there was a thread on here about it a few weeks back.

Spice rooms in Stalybridge is very good. - good offer on Sundays
Sonar Bangla is good too.

I'm going to Bangla City in Hyde tomorrow which is ok but the portions are small.

Don't like Aashiana as the food isn't spicy enough

Great place ! Used to go indian Plaza before Red Lounge opened and would say its just in front . More taste to the food and also do a 2-4-1 deal . Give it a try and you shouldn't be disappointed !!

Bangla city is brilliant. mon-thu 2-4-1 on starters and main course.
Me and the missus go and have popadoms, starters, main course and a couple of pints each for around £25

Update. In the red lounge waiting for a table. So far the cobra is nice. Rammed.

Its good but the plaza buries it.

Was very good. Plus they missed a round of drinks off the bill. Brucie.

They usually give you a free round of drinks. I live facing there so use it quite a lot, usually go over 10mins after ordering a takeaway to have a couple of Cobras. The Plaza is excellent although not as friendly.
