CHELSEA are ready to make a £35million summer swoop for Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain.
Roman Abramovich’s Blues are lining up the Argentina striker to replace Didier Drogba who is set to quit this summer.

And Madrid could be willing to do business as boss Jose Mourinho wants Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero at the Bernabeu next season.

So selling Higuain would help raise some of the money needed to try to capture the unsettled City hero
.“He would be perfect for us, the sort of player who would thrive in the Premier League.”

Higuain’s strike record is impressive. He has scored 25 goals in 51 games this season with eight assists.

And in his three seasons in Spain he has netted 102 times in just 217 outings, with 35 assists.

Higuain scored a hat-trick in Argentina’s 4–1 win over South Korea in the 2010 World Cup finals.

He was the first player to score a hat-trick in the tournament since 2002.

A top Chelsea source revealed: “Higuain is top of the shopping list.

“He has a phenomenal goalscoring record for Real and for Argentina but he helps make lots of goals too.“He would be perfect for us, the sort of player who would thrive in the Premier League.”

Complete Nonsense. I thought in his 'recent' interview he said he was happy here and wanted to win titles with us?
However it does make me think whether Aguero really will stay with us....

Just edited the bit about Aguero so it was in bold.

Seriously it aint going to happen.

The only way it would happen is if, as isn't mentioned in that article, Ronaldo comes this way as part of the deal. That isn't going to happen so there's no way Aguero would go there this summer.

I know its the S*n, but seems like theres a story every week and with his twat of a father in law keeps saying he made the wrong decision it makes me think twice!

That article is so bad i can't quite fathom how his editor said it was okay to print. Fair enough if he made up a source or dragged up the Maradonna quotes from last October, at least then it would only be very fucking shit. But he's not even done that; all he's done is write an article about Chelsea and Higuain, and added a line or two about Sergio from his own mind. That is one of the worst articles i've seen this month, and there are some stinkers to rival it!

This is where you've been duped by the media. Maradonna doesn't keep saying anything. He said it once, months and months ago, and the papers keep reeling out the same quote over and over to make the country think that Sergio is unsettled. Don't be fooled by the terrible terrible standards of journalism in Britain!

Wtf.gif

They even had to put the Aguero things in brackets (as if it's a secret only they know about...shhhhh)

I suppose if just one Rag reads that and gets giddy then the Sun will consider it worthwhile posting that bullshit.

And just where do these 'stories' keep appearing.....? In the SUN, that's right. So don't worry your twelve toes about it.

It's what we expected leading up to the derby. The sun also has a story today saying that Mario is set for a recall on monday, anything to stir shit around the camp.

Sergio Aguero: I'm happy at Manchester City

Sergio+Aguero

Manchester City's top scorer Sergio Aguero has reiterated his commitment to the club following fresh speculation over his future.

The Argentinian spoke only recently about his love for life at the Etihad Stadium but rumours linking him with Spanish giants Real Madrid still resurfaced.

The 23-year-old, who has scored 26 goals since his club record £38million move from Atletico Madrid last summer, insists he will not be leaving and reports to the contrary are merely attempts to unsettle him.

When asked if there was any truth in the rumours, Aguero said: "No no, all of that, no.

"The truth is that I am happy here, happy with my fellow players and the rest of the staff.

"The only thing I have to do is enjoy playing football.

"I hardly ever do interviews. Sometimes I have to get in touch to deny or correct the claims but I can't dispel every claim that is written about me.

"I repeat that I am very happy here and they invent things to try to compromise me."

What they dont get is that we wouldnt let a player go for less than asking price when we didnt necessarily want to keep them, what chance do you think you got when we want to keep the player.

Sergio Unsettled???

According to The Sun, Real Madrid are believed to be ready to accept £35m for the sale of Gonzalo Higuain to Chelski. This will help fund the money needed to try to capture the 'unsettled' City hero, according to reports printed today.

Aguero unsettled? That's the first I've heard of that or have I missed something? I get the impression he likes it here. His performances on the pitch certainly suggest that.
