Your Celtic bretheren in Cornwall are even more subsumed by the oppression of Westminster. They can't even have their nationality as a choice on the census and have no regional assembly.

I actually think a 'solution' may be to give the regions / nations an equal voice in the 2nd House (Lords) as part of wider reform.

A question we are increasingly asking ourselves. What I'm saying is devolved Scots, Welsh, NI and English Parliaments could answer to a Lords or whatever we want to call it - all elected too.

Partly bravado to attract voters as 'the only possible party that isn't the snp' and partly trying to milk a bit of a dip in the polling.

In some ways, it is what the snp have been doing for years the other way.

I do think though, the snp's attempt to include indyref2 in the actual ballot is a total and utter foot shooter, and will backfire so badly. More than anything the media could have done with the whole salmond non-issue.

It IS pretty incredible though, how much easier it is to attract and convince voters over simple claims of what you are Not, as oppised to what you Are, or promise to be.

The tories have nothing at all to offer. But they are trying to get every last disgruntled anti-snp otle non-indy voter they could hope for. Simply by claiming they are not the snp.
