I hope Scotland gains independence over the next few years & that it gives us, in Wales, the confidence to strike out for our own independence.

The Scots will.

The Welsh have a Stockholm syndrome about independence. They want it, but feel sorry for the English for some stupid reason when it's rich English cunts keep them in the shit.

A lot of old English people moved to Wales when retiring, they'll never vote Plaid but over the next generation they'll all die off and hopefully not replaced.
The biggest issue in Wales and Scotland didn't really have this, is the language issue, Welsh speakers don't trust non Welsh speakers and vice versa......we dislike each other more than we dislike being in the UK.
Scotland gaining independence would really shake things up in Wales & the younger generation see themselves as Welsh, not British

I genuinely don't know but as a nation we certainly can't afford the Tories

We just took back my constituency from Labour in East Lothian. A lot of unionist tactical voting going on. Which I hope when Labour voters realise their party nationally is a busted flush may at last vote Indy to 're emerge as a force after Indy. I have always been wary of claiming we would actually have enough balls to go for it. Another potential game changer is the absolute decimation of Labour and the clear message that too many in England would still vote Tory if Boris came round, shot their dog, put their kids up for experiments, and burned down their house. Scottish Labour voters need to make a choice. Go down with Starmer and his Red Tories or wisen the fuck up. Time will tell.

I think you'd end up like New Zealand like economic wise if you did.

Having all your brain boxes not sent to London I reckon you'd be ok.

A lot of English people moved to Scotland. And still do. Many of them vote snp, some voted for independence, more or less in line with the national average.

In fairness im all for england being independent from wales and scotland but no one ever asks us :)
London will never give a shit about Scotland or Wales but it doesn't give a shit about anything outside London either.
Maybe the North could go on it's own

Maybe we get the gammons and Scotland get decent English people :)

Too many in Scotland still willing to vote for them as well mate.
I know. The key is Scottish Labour voters have a choice. They either accept their party will never be in power and choose to be run by Toffs in London, or they are a future for their party going it alone. If they keep voting No we are fucked but a 3% swing in their vote is all it takes. As Brexit continues to bite deeper and national Labour continue their tailspin or become Tory Lite they may say fuck it. They need to know they will in effect be voting for Tory rule of one shade or another from.now on.

Only 170 votes in it, that was so tight. Strong tory seat that
