It has been claimed that Sunak spoke to her, seat in the Lords awaits?
Nothing would surprise me with any of them.
The gravy train is too much for most of them to resist.

Well that's a big internet bill. Could have got a season ticket for the price of one match.
What doesn't seem to be mentioned here in this whole scandal is the absolute cheek of charging over 7 grand for 3GB of data. Those are the real people who should be finding themselves in the dock.
The parliament said that after the bill was received earlier in the year, IT officials checked the iPad to see if it was working. They also examined the mobile data usage, but were only presented with a cumulative total and did not see the browsing history.
Yeah, could have been embarrassing.I'm struggling to understand how someone could be that stupid, it is a huge bill. Maybe just maybe the devil is in the detail and the charge may have been for other COUGH**** content.

I imagine not having to pay back $11k would be the main motivation.Indeed EE are cheeky robbing fuckers but why lie about it?
What will do for him is the fact a password protected and encrypted government piece of IT has been given to his kids to watch football on and possibly even the password shared.
He is a dick and will pay with his job.
The whole story is a pack of lies, and about as believable as the campervan fiasco.Indeed EE are cheeky robbing fuckers but why lie about it?

I’d have rolled 7GB over to him for £7.5k.He’s obviously in a spot of bother for what appears to be a fraudulent expenses claim, but £11k for about 7GB of data….. that’s just as scandalous and deserves an investigation in its own right.
Well yeah, also the classic expenses thing of not giving a shit what it costs because someone else is paying. No-one paying themselves would be on that data plan and not check before they go on holiday. The whole story is a pack of lies, and about as believable as the campervan fiasco.
The bottom line is that he wasn’t arsed about how much data he was using, or the cost of this, as he simply assumed that he wouldn’t face any consequences for it and that somebody would pick up the bill. He’s brought his family into it at the eleventh hour in a desperate attempt to save his neck and he’s being entirely disingenuous.
Not one bit of his story stacks up, not least the idea that his kids would be watching the old firm game but he wouldn’t, and he wasn’t aware that his kids were watching the game, when they’re all on holiday together.Well yeah, also the classic expenses thing of not giving a shit what it costs because someone else is paying. If anyone needs extra data, message me x

His initial proposal for paying the bill was a corker as well - Parliament can pick up most of it but I’ll offer to pay three grand from my Parliament-funded office expense account. Unbelievable how these people operate.
First thing I do when entering a new land is turn mobile roaming off if I haven’t sorted out a package.Has he never heard of a data bundle for when you're abroad? lol
Everyone is entitled to their personal preference mate. Nobody is judging you ;-)I'm going for porn rather than the football tbh.
Anyway, if we were still in the EU roaming charges wouldn’t be so much of a problem.
