Sheikh now led the Clan, and the Clan accepted the new leader to their hearts, many adopted the Sheikh’s style in dress and proudly wandered the Mancurian byways singing the praises of the Sheikh to the Dark Side. The Dark Side became worried of the Sheikh, and Ferguss Son was seen scurrying around in the undergrowth, talking to himself and quenching his dry mouth with copious amounts of a golden liquid, which seemed to send him reeling and following a bulbous red light which protruded from his face. Red eyed and shaking, Ferguss Son arrived at a land where huge silver dragons landed and hatched out their brood, one of which were snatched by the Dark Lord and smuggled back to his evil swamp dwelling and kept, hidden by Ferguss Son out of reach by anybody, including the FA, for many hours.

He later was introduced as Berba Flop a brave and fearsome new fighter for the Red Riders, although it came to pass that he was not feared by anybody, much like the older dwarf Ro Oney, and court jester Rona Ldo. However this did not worry the Sheikh for he had announced to the Clan that the mercurial warrior Robin Ho had agreed to join the fight at Eastlands. Joy was now on the shores of Mancuria, much rejoicing and merriment was to be heard throughout the land. “Hail to Robin Ho”.

But alas, working furtively in the background were Blodwyn and Mefanwy, although they smiled at the Sheikh and his advisor Co Ok, and pledging support to the Clan, were they there to do the bidding of Ferguss Son and the FA, to undermine the heroes as they fought many battles at Eastlands?

Sadly due to the spell cast upon them by the evil Blodwyn and Mefanwy the warriors started to become lifeless and lethargic. Losing more than they could win, so much so that lesser combatants, arriving in the land of Eastlands, wearing many colours were no longer afraid. The mercurial warrior Robin Ho was heard rallying his troops instilling a winning attitude, which was echoed mildly, and almost laughingly, by Blodwyn and Mefanwy who knew their evil plan was at work.

Blodwyn now decided to change the Clan and damage the hopes of Robin Ho even more, by pulling put his strongest attacker Shaunwrip, a short little fellow but strong in heart, out of the front line and putting in Dar Vass, a mild ineffective little elf. One look into the eyes of Dar Vass showed fear like had never before been seen. Behold the plot worked; the fear of Dar Vass flowed from him into Ben Ji, Jo, and two of the previously strongest warriors Mirich and Dun Ne. The evil plot was working, and dark clouds now appeared over the Eastlands. Blodwyn and Mefanwy were winning.

If only the Sheikh could see the connection between Dark Lord Ferguss Son, the FA, Blodwyn and Mefanwy then maybe, just maybe he could stop the Clan falling into the abyss known as the Championship, and live to challenge the inner sanctuary of the FA and their beloved top four of Red Riders, Scouse Sorcerers, Wenger’s Weevils, and Roman’s Regenerates. But fear again struck into the hearts of the Red Riders and the FA for it became known that two other Clans had fought the evil empire and recognized the dark force within their lands. These Clans are known as Sunder Land and Black Burn, who’s powers led to the ending of the evil empire’s Royk Eane, who cowardly fled, and Pau Lince, a dark prince, who both once rode with the Red Riders.

Dark Lord Ferguss Son became angry as he and the FA had only two members of the evil empire left to do their work, these being Blodwyn Hughes in Eastlands, and St. Eveb Ruce of Wi Gan. St. Eveb Ruce had annoyed the Dark Lord, whom he feared, had turned his back on the Dark Side and was now entering the Light. How long will Blodwyn and Mefanwy continue their evil in Eastlands? Maybe they will realize the power of the Sheikh and turn to the Light, or face eternal banishment from Eastlands………..(To be continued after the window.)
