OK, yes I agree....It's a disgrace that a team in the premiership has to call off games due to a frozen pitch.
But this could be a blessing in disguise. Look at our record this season against teams below us in the league. Poor (to say the least). As well as this, we would not have had Robinho, Ireland and SWP so our attacking threat would have been very limited. Also, players have mentioned that with the vigorous training and the busy schedule this year, they are feeling the strain on their muscles. This will give us an extra weeks rest which I imagine will help a lot of players recoup some of their strength.
We also have another week to get some new players in and strengthen our team before the next game.
I know that it is a bit of a piss take not having a game, and personally I would have loved to see us play today. But for once, lets look on the positive side...
