Well my appointment has finally come through for the 29th Jan to go and have my bollocks mutilated. I'm really not looking forward to it. Can anyone who's had it put my mind at ease...................

Thanks

No-scalpel vasectomy is usually carried out under local anaesthetic. During a no-scalpel vasectomy, the doctor will feel the vas deferens underneath the skin of your scrotum and then hold them in place using a small clamp.

A special instrument is then used to make a tiny puncture hole in the skin of the scrotum. A small pair of forceps is used to open up the hole, allowing the surgeon to access the vas deferens without the need to cut the skin with a scalpel. The tubes are then closed in the same way as in a conventional vasectomy, either by being tied or sealed.

Fuck that I would rather pay child support

Had it done in June didn't feel anything during the procedure apart
from the needles which stung a bit. Slight discomfort afterward's for about 2 day's so
all in all not to bad really

I had it done about 5 years back. I was put under general anaesthetic so didn't feel a thing. A few days with your feet up afterwards and you'll be ok. I've never regretted it for one second.

Just wait till you smell that burning whiff as they sort your tubes out that the only thing that stands out from when I had it done a few years back

It's nothing to worry about, Blue. You'll get all the horror stories (especially from fellow cellarites on here) but they're a million miles from the truth.

I have no doubt that St Helens Blue will be posting on this thread soon. He can speak from more recent experience than I can. (Boy, did he get some grief when he announced his vasectomy!)

It'll all be fine.

Its not the snip that hurts.....its not too bad. Just make sure that you book a week off afterwards and don't rush back to work like I did.

I suggest you take it well easy, feet up , get yourself a load of DVD's to watch. Chill lots of tinnies in the beer fridge (you will have bought especially so you don't have to walk to the kitchen). Consume frequently 'cos it will numb the pain, get the best position on the coach , control of the remote and don't forget to moan intermittently (loud enough so the Mrs can hear) and when she comes in say.....I Don't mind love.the pains not too bad .after all I did it to make you happy.

Might just turn out to be the best week of your life.
