The Squad planning thread

We’ve never really signed ready made world class players, but recently we seemed to be linked (could be false) to a lot of mid table, unproven at the top level players - Anderson, MGW, N’daiye, Wharton, livramento, tonali

I'll be interested this year, with a new manager, along with Viana, how they deal with all the younger players. We have the best part of a full team out on loan or coming through the academy.
Whatmuff, Reis, Bah, Simpson Pusey, Alleyne, Mfuni, Mukasa, Heskey, Mubama, Echeverri on loan last season along with our triumphant academy players.
Its a great position to be in but I wouldn't like to see them all sold off just to finance the arrival of other players.
We havent done too bad at selling aur youngsters..

Doubt there's going to be much business this summer; Khaldoon's comments about having done business in January that would usually be done in summer and pieces in the media now about the focus on contract extensions instead of new arrivals all suggest a quieter window than some anticipated. Anderson, Reis, and maybe a winger.

is he better than Read
depends

Palestra is better defender, is ok at everything else, probably will get longer time at adapting to a new country and Marescas system

Read is faster and better recovery speed , better going forward, better at crossing but is more injury prone

Martins been pretty spot on with info on his channel he’s saying

Right wing to replace Savinho

Anderson

Right back

Another midfielder if Nico G or Reijnders leaves

Also Savinho has been forced out it’s looking like according to him

Have people actually watched Palestra because I've not and the stats suggest he doesn't ever defend. Most sites also say he's played most of the season at right mid

Won’t happen but

Marmoush to Barcelona or anywhere else for 50 million Dusan in for free

Trafford pay rise and loan David Soria for free

Savinho out for 60 to Spurs Harry Wilson in on a free.

Reis to replace Ake and Stones

Then go nuts on midfield Anderson etc

Doesn't look like much of a fullback at all from that. Big and strong though so could possibly develop into one like O'Reilly has. Just whether that's what we want for next season. We looked lost when Nunes wasn't starting this season. Very two footed and we seem to be stockpiling those atm
