I'll more than likely doing nothing different than any other night out, except refusing to pay to get in anywhere out of principal.

I agree. My local pub ends up full of strangers wishing each other well at midnight. Does NYE have an equivalent of Bah Humbug ?

I like NY eve another excuse for a piss up. Always a house party though no chance I'm paying £20 to get in some shit pub or £50 for a shit club.

Had some brilliant parties over the years though.
