Italy is full of corruption and their economy is precarious too before COVID-19. Tottenham in debt because of their stadium, United are propping up American shopping malls, Arsenal are a basket case of a club. It’s an absolute band of desperados.

If there's one set of fans that's going to back this and spin it as positively as they can despite knowing its despicable it's the scousers. Their club has never done anything wrong. Ever.

Absolutely. But could they face ‘extinction’ if they don’t, esp those Italian and Spanish ones?It is a huge financial risk though. The whole project is being bankrolled by a US Bank and most of those involved already have huge debts. If it flopped,and there are no guarantees with anything in these turbulent times, some of these so-called Superclubs could face extinction.
