If Tevez does go we'll replace him with another top notch striker/forward; that will leave us with Balotelli, Dzeko and another (plus maybe another striker/forward that Mancini hinted at before Tevez spat his dummy out).

It looks like we're getting Nasri (or at least a player of Nasri's quality) which means that our main midfield players will be chosen from:
Nasri
Silva
Adam Johnson
YaYa
De Jong
Milner
Barry

That's as pretty much as solid a midfield as anywhere in top flight football (apart from Barca). We may even gain another flare/attacking/creative midfielder to compliment the seven listed.

In defence we have:

Clichy
Lescott
Kompany
Richards

With back up/mix and match as follows:

Zab
Kolarov
Toure
Savic

That's without any other defenders coming in - such as Jan Vertonghen.

Joe Hart is, well, Joe Hart and could be with us for the next 18 or so years.

We are now fairly close to being in the position that most of the top teams have been in for years - that of only needing to buy one or two (if any) players in future transfer windows to help tweak the squad where required.

I believe the team that we end up with after this transfer window closes will pretty much be a squad of players which will represent City for many years to come.

It's a fucking great time to be a blue

This is the season we have to compete against the rags and Chelski and Bobby knows it

Plus most of the club's losses in the last two seasons have been due to the purchase of players - in other words we're just in time for the FFPR.

Great timing Sheikh Mansour ;]

Thats what i'm thinking, we have the squad now and watching the fa cup videos on the OS you can see we have the 'team' now too

I'm gonna love next season, especially our run in the CL :D

What for Milner, Lescott, Johnson, Zaba, Kolo?

Premiership: 38 games
Champions League: 13?
FA Cup: 6 games minimum?
Carling Cup: 5 games minimum?

Possible 62 games = Milner, Johnson, Zaba, Kolo = rotation.

As Uber has put, we could be knocking on for 60 games next season if were to hit out on all fronts, IMO a title challenge and a last 16 CL is a must, strong League and/or FA cup run too, woul be nice to retain the FA cup, but for that we need a strong strong squad as rotation is imperative, and if we can get the squad to swap quality player for quality player reach with different attributes for different opponents then were heading the right way.

As for a starting 11, fuck knows, but we will no doubt get slaughtered for using so many players and having X amount of millions on the bench etc.
