....that frigs me off is how they hover over the holy moral ground of not overspending on players but then charge their boring fans extortionate amounts to go to the Emirates but more than anything continuosly rob the French/African players from small teams for stupidly small transfer fees -

Song, Djourou, Diaby, Eboue, Traore, Sagna etc. let alone all the others they since flogged on at massive profit ala Ade and Kolo...

Sure anorak flasher Wenger must have it sussed with his scouting network in that part of the world but on the otherside its daylight robbery what they pay for one of their endless Afro/French players...

It annoys you that we have a good youth set up and any players surplus to requirment get us a bit of profit?

The rules in France and mainland Europe are different to England. In England you can offer a kid a professional contract when he's 16, in Europe they have to wait until they are 17.
I'm not sure why this is but it's a loophole that Wenger has exploited a lot.

All clubs have exploited a lot, just that Wengers got the best players from it e.g Fabregas. Chelsea, United and others have been it a lot aswell.

Didn't Arsenal start out by buying their success. I'm sure I heard that they bought the entire title winning Huddersfield Town team and manager to kick start their success.

Doesn't wind me up to be honest.

That's how Wenger does his transfers and it works for them, he's put together a fantastic team. I'm sure it probably frustrates Arsenal fans that Wenger can be stubborn and not spend massive amounts at times. For Arsenal to not win a trophy in five years must annoy them when they've had such quality players come and go.

To each their own.

If we win something we can shove it down their throats that for all their perfect football they're not winning trophies, but for now we've won nowt.

no it aggravates me how Gooners think they don't need to spend loads of money to be successful unlike the likes of us - when one, you'ver won fuck all for a while, two, see what it would be like if you werent in the top 4 for a season and 3 - coz you've pillaged tiny little African/French teams for years, buying players for absolutely fuk all and benefitted massively from them - yeah good management for sure but it gets to the stage of hypocrital bullshit - at least we are funding smaller UK/EU clubs than us with very healthy profit for them to rebuild and prosper relatively - and I count you into that too!!

Well I, for one, admire Wenger and admire Arsenal. They have played some great stuff under Wenger, and Wenger is one of the cleverest and most astute managers around.
