The thing I don’t understand about the FA letting Neville off with just a warning is. Wasn’t he warned about his future conduct when he was charged (and had his disability claims taken away) and fined 5000 pounds.

So basically what’s the actual point in warning someone over there future conduct it they repeat their actions and go unpunished?

I fact I'll take that one further and say whats the point in the FA?

Well it's almost 4 years since he got that fine so my guess is that these warnings as to future conduct only stay on record for a certain length of time - say 2 years. A bit like verbal and written warnings at work in a way.

I'm not going to complain too much about it - I think Neville's actions have led to no further action being taken against Bellamy because if Bellamy had been charged but Neville hadn't, the FA would've had a hell of a lot of explaining to do.

I suppose so

I think that the warned about future conduct in FA eyes only applies for the current season. At least in the case of Sky4 players.

So in theroy Bellers can smack a rag again next season. (Just hope he does a bit harder)

However I am sure if SWP kicked out tonight he would face a 6 game ban because he was banned and warned last season.

Rags 5 X warning = ban

Everybody else 1 warning = ban

Same on the pitch 5 x bad tackle = yellow

Everybody else 1st bad tackle - yellow

Thats it.

Let it go people. At least we showed restraint unlike the Arsenal fans.

More importantly, the fact that they let Gary Chuckle off will stand us in good stead for the Ade hearing next week. After all, what is good for one should be good for the other and he wasnt even playing. Any additional ban for Ade will prompt a protest of disparity from us.
