Not even remotely worried.

FFS, has nobody been watching this team in recent years?

And with the home crowd completely behind it?

We scored four at home to Real Madrid and gave Liverpool six shots on target across two Premier League games...

Unless people are so crippled by inferiority, they believe Villa have suddenly morphed in to 80s Milan, and Ollie Chambers is Benzema?

We have done the hard yards without our three best defenders over the last two months

I know City will win, and expect to be four or five goals to the good with plenty left on the clock.
Oh man, I hope so.

As long as it's not another QPR I don't think I can handle that again.

Good confidence!
I would add that West Ham are better than villa, had a week to prepare, played at home, a two goal start and they shit it in the second half and still couldn’t beat us
Villa will be more tired than us, have my thing to play for and are away from home
Add to that we are clearly a better team in better form
We should be very confident

Nice to think this isn't even our biggest game of the last 10 years. Its Liverpool s though. They NEED this, more than anything ever.

We've been here before, done it, bought the t-shirt. The boys will have the balls of steel to win.

I will say this though. Lfc are due some luck against us, we've beaten them at everything,.. Slippy g, 2019 1pt, mm goal decisions, Sterling, titles and cups... It all evens out I just hope it isn't this weekend, with refs decisions especially, that would derail us. Other than that Cmon you city boys, you can do this.

They knocked us out of the f.a cup semi and went on to win it, they knocked us out of the CL too not that long ago. And beat us to the PL title 2 years ago. If anything, it is our turn.

Seeing this a lot on dipper accounts but can’t find it on talksport! Is this true?

I hope he did say that. An extra place in the league is worth £2m but £15m is a lot more of an incentive! Even if it's nonsense it's a good line to get out there just to calm down the notion that Gerrard is going to put his boots on and win the game for Villa!

It is our biggest game of the last 10 years. What happened before happened. Now this is the most important game we have to play. For Liverpool it's just another game. They win it and see what happens. It's out of their control beyond that.

Liverpool aren't playing us so luck doesn't come into it where they're concerned. They can't control what happens in our game. And they've had plenty of success against us over the years. We've won once at Anfield in twenty years. They knocked us out of the CL and they beat us in the Cup semi, because they could rest players in the CL quarter final because of how much easier their draw was than ours. Plenty of luck right there.

Slippy G didn't lose them the title. The media make it out that way. They lost the title by having to chase goals against Palace and drawing that game. We beat them by 2points in the end. That was the difference. And the 1pt win was down to us beating them at home and then going on a quite remarkable run to the end of the season. And the Stones clearance by millimetres came from a comedy of attempted clearances where it was booted against Ederson and looped back towards goal.

They got an absolute avalanche of luck/dodgy VAR decisions/crucial injuries for us (Laporte) in the 2019/20 season. Absolutely everything went their way that year, the first season of VAR being introduced seemed incredibly dodgy how it swung the league in their favour.

Totally agree, especially your point about the hard yards, I might feel different Sunday but I’m pretty relaxed about it, title’s in our hands at a home match, can’t really ask for much more. I’ve booked Monday off to recover from the celebrations then scan Amazon for “They Dared to Dream Vol II.”

We came back from the dead away at West Ham last week. Pep and the boys will be ready don't you worry about that!!
Yep. Even though FFS missed the pen we still potentially saved our season coming back from 2-0 down. At least the pen wasn’t needed to get a point!
