The best managers win titles , Guardiola , Clubshop , Baconface , Maureeniho , Conte , Wenger all proven managers , who have won titles at multiple clubs , Pellegrini and Mancini deserve a mention and of course Claudio Ranieri is amongst title winning managers.
Arteta is not at that level , he might be one day but unfortunately for him , he is competing with Guardiola probably the best manager ever , the problem Arteta will have is managing the expectation for next season ,Pep thrives on it.

Great to see Arsenal drop a few points. I'd still say its in their hands whilst they have points on the board and can make do with a draw against us.

Should we win our game in hand I'll feel much more confident but as we all know there are no guarantees of that happening.

I think we'll need to go full on in games to get a decent goal difference. We're ahead at the moment.
It could all be down to one or 2 goals in the end.
The difference between a 4 nil and 4-1 yesterday could be crucial.
Both ourselves and the arse are well capable if scoring a hatful in a match.
They won’t beat us on goal difference. I think we have plenty of goals in the tank if needed. We almost always take our foot off the gas in games to conserve energy. I think if we have to, we will throw in a couple of 5-0 type games to completely put that out of the equation. Not to mention if we beat them, even by one goal it’s a two goal swing.

We have to beat them though. That’s why I still think it’s a tough ask from here with all the games we still have to play.

Good of the scousers to help us out though. I thought they were done and dusted at 2-0 and in the end they should have won.

Winning one competition doesn’t make you the best.
It does for that season. You can fluke your way to a cup win with favourable draws. But generally, you end up where you deserve to be in the league. Now, I see where you're coming from. No one would seriously suggest that Leicester (or Liverpool) have been better than us over the last decade. Of course not. But they WERE better than us in those seasons when they won their titles.

Evening Bluemooners, nearly a great result for u lot today, title back in ur own hands now, the doubles on, maybe the treble if we dont beat the rags. City v Brighton will be a an exciting final, however after our game yesterday anything can happen with the officials.

Good luck fir the PL and Champions league.

Watched the Premier league 2 game today, not to gloat but we beat u 3-2, winner in te last min. Luca Barrington looks good,

Pity you lot got royally shafted at Spurs on saturday. Two definite penalties not given, and two goals harshly chalked off. Atwell did a number on you lot.

You were robbed v Spuds, welcome to our world.

In our hands, as well as theirs, but they perhaps have a stronger grip as they just need to avoid defeat at our place - if they win their next two matches.

But just like Ferguson found out in 2012, approaching a game knowing you just need to avoid defeat is strange place to be. Based on what I saw today some of the Arsenal players are prone to getting wound up whereas yesterday some of our players were all smiles during the game yesterday.

Assuming we beat Leicester and they beat W Ham and Saints - none of which is a given - then the tension will be huge when we play them. Will assume that the atmosphere will be as hostile as the January match against Liverpool a couple of years ago, it’ll be uncomfortable for them. They’re dangerous, but we can get under the skin of Zinchenko, Xhaka, Martinelli & we will tear Holding apart if he plays. Shows how big the Leicester game is, particularly playing the day before Arsenal. Only a small game against Bayern getting in the way…

You only have to be better for a short period of time in a season and you can win it. A season is not the ideal length of time over which to make the judgment of which team is truly the best.

The Fink Tank used to do some great articles based on empirical evidence and I’m pretty sure they did one to demonstrate why.

We'll have to agree to disagree then.
