We don't have any pressure to win the CL again. In terms of priority, it is secondary to the PL for now.
Not for Pep and the players, imo, especially with the final being at Wembley. We'll try to win both titles anyway.

Yeah I don’t think we can get to 90 points. We got to 89 last year with 5 losses and 5 draws. We are already around that draw total this year. I’m hoping we get 85 or so points and that is enough to take it.Well if its 90+ points we're going to have to win 16/19 with another couple of draws, allowing for 1 loss.
That's a tall order and the scousers need one less win to achieve that as well.
I suspect its less than 90 this year.
Yes we will have to be near on perfect to beat them to the title I think.Yeah. You fancy them to see games through even if they havent played well...we've seen that already numerous times this season.
Not sure on that. This would be a 4th pl in a row. Getting back to back CL is much rarer / harder. We don't have any pressure to win the CL again. In terms of priority, it is secondary to the PL for now.
4th PL has never been doneNot sure on that. This would be a 4th pl in a row. Getting back to back CL is much rarer / harder.
Back to back treble would be different gravy.
How can it be rarer when no one has won four titles in a row before?! :-)Not sure on that. This would be a 4th pl in a row. Getting back to back CL is much rarer / harder.
I'm sure we all wish Egypt the best of luck or the way through to the semis before crashing out only to lose the 3rd place playoff with salah himself missing the vital penalty. On a side note Afcon are possibly the only confederation that could make uefa look semi competent & unbiased so who knows what will happen.Salah is one of the few players in the top flight who's mere presence alone on the field is worth points.
Akin to Kompany, Terry, Vieira, Keane, Adams and Stam.
He will miss Bournemouth away (21st Jan), but depending how far Egypt go, he could also miss Chelsea at home (31st Jan) and Arsenal away (4th Feb).
As others have said, it will be interesting to see how they cope without him. Would be even more interesting to see how a prolonged spell out of the side would impact their Premier League campaign.
“Liverpool’s main strength is energy.” That is so true and is why the Klopp method is unsustainable. It is why their “quad” campaign broke them and why their performance levels dropped so much afterwards. They have now completely replaced their midfield with youth and energy, if it doesn’t work then what?Liverpool are definite favourites? Even Liverpool fans don't believe it.
Liverpool's main strength is energy. I think they run more than the other teams. Their play is less structured than Arsenal's, let alone ours, but they make up for it by their energy levels. Whether and for how long this can be sustained this season only time can show. They are expected to go very far in Europa, and won't have enough time to recover in January due to the semis in the league cup.
Their energy levels make them favourites at Anfield vs any team not called City, but they are not as good away from home and will drop plenty of points, imo. 84 pts win the league, maybe even 82!
You've got that wrong. Back to back CL titles have been done before (not by us, granted). No one has won 4 PL titles in a row before. Not sure on that. This would be a 4th pl in a row. Getting back to back CL is much rarer / harder.

Or four First Division titles. You've got that wrong. Back to back CL titles have been done before (not by us, granted). No one has won 4 PL titles in a row before.
