The Inevitables are coming.
I mean, given how many points we've blasted away in the last few weeks, you'd take that.Win our game in hand and we are 3 behind arse, 2 behind dippers
The Inevitables are coming.
I think it just shows that we are at a completely different level from the rest. Most City fans will say that we have been poor this season. Look at how fans of the others view their season and yet there we are, right on their arses. If I was a Liverpool or Arsenal fan, I wouldn’t be celebrating (like many seem to be), I’d be thinking ‘oh fuck, City have been absolute shite and yet they’re still there’.I mean, given how many points we've blasted away in the last few weeks, you'd take that.
In fact, it's a bit laughable that we're still in a position where winning our game in hand, and then beating Arsenal at our place puts it back into our hands.
Obviously that's discounting the dippers, but I just don't think they're good enough to see it through, especially when they lose Salah.
I'm not convinced Arsenal have any more gears than they've shown; we've been in neutral all season.
We have to win it.Win our game in hand and we are 3 behind arse, 2 behind dippers
That day I stuck £10 on us to the title.I was at that West Brom game. Never felt as "meh" about a City win (4-0,IIRC), even after word got through about Moloney's winner for Wigan. But it does show you; keep the faith. Does that make me a happy clapper? Possibly. So be it.
But keep the wedge hairstyle for Kev.Someone HAS to put Peps, KDBs, Dokus and Erlings heads on those.
Something akin to the Chelsea away performance in 20-21 season. We have to win it.
Really need to set a benchmark against Everton.
I think whether the 1-1 at Anfield is a good result for City depends on how City do at Anfield. That's actually a game that many people thought Arsenal could lose and getting a draw is maybe a 'par' result so if City go there and win it is a good result in the fight against Arsenal, if City don't win there it's 'as you were'. It's not like Arsenal drew 1-1 at Forest or Palace.
Realistically of Arsenal's 'losable' away games we have City away (will lose there in all likelihood) and Spurs away (who knows but if there's a sniff of a chance they can stop Arsenal winning the league they'll release the Kraken on us).
We've played Dippers, Barcodes, Villa, Chelsea away already, can't see us losing at Old Trafford, so really I don't think the 1-1 is that great a result for City unless, like I said before, you win at Anfield.
Still think City will win the league as basically all you need to do is beat us at the Etihad and then not fuck up the other matches and goal difference will be in your favour
