I don't think Arsenal will win it, but it seems rather reactionary of the bookies to push them out to 13/2.

Might be something in that for anyone that looks at this market, as I could swear they were 2nd favourites behind us this morning.

It's all in the head.

The final months are about bottle, always have been. Mental strength, be that because of experience or a cast iron belief is what carries you to titles. In every professional sport.

The pressure will build and those of fragile minds will falter.

Are you talking about the title race or some of the posters on this thread a couple of weeks ago?…

Odds based on where money is being placed, not on actual likelihood - although of course the two are strongly linked.

You can’t have been watching them.
Yep. Their body language this last few weeks has been telling in and of itself. Players arguing, not taking responsibility- pointing blame. Lego Man hasn't looked himself either... less his usual combative and constant complaining and ref jockeying and more just a look of resignation. To a man just seems an overall attitude "this happened last season and it's already happening this one."

Certainly an interesting half season so far. We should be well behind really but we are not and that is very bad news for the other sides.

The teams that have impressed me the most against us were Villa, who probably played the game of their lives that night and I thought Spurs were good too.

Not overly impressed with Liverpool although still think they will be the main competition and think Arsenal have been average and not as good as last season.

Looking at what we’ve got coming up between now and Liverpool it’s perfectly conceivable we could win nine on the spin, which is a quarter of the season. Would be great going to Anfield not being desperate for three points.
Just looked at our next few games and we do have quite a favourable set of fixtures coming up. Newcastle away on the 13th will be tricky but if we can navigate that, we don't have another league game until the 31st which is Burnley at home. If we can get all of our injured players back for February then hopefully we'll start to build some momentum and go on a run like you say.

Just 3 points between the Top 5 teams. If everyone keeps up, the title race will be something special.
It's shaping up to be one of the most interesting seasons for quite some time, especially for neutrals.

Hope you’re right, just not convinced we are playing well enough to put that kind of run together currently….
