How many points will be needed to win the league?

Liverpool and Arsenal/ players, managers and fans all showing a small time mentality which is why so many doubt their ability to pull it off from now. Their attitude to this honestly very slight knockback should be alarming to them.

Cold hard facts show city are titans, bred winners with a history of pushing to the end. Liverpool and Arsenal are serial bottlers who rely on emotions to get anywhere. Sadly (for some) not as effective as actually being an elite club from Top to bottom and the difference shows.

Wow if you thought some of our fans were bad with overreactions then check out the dippers and arse fans.
They've thrown in the towel already!
2 points in it, 6 games to go and no doubt a few more twists and turns yet to come.

You guys like to say all this about not giving up but the truth is the only season another team has won the league was the year you guys had an off season. To expect anything different to the norm, year after year, is the definition of insanity.

For us and Liverpool, we have to fight at 110% of our standard. For City, its just another Monday and they walk the league. Shows how good Pep and this team are. If it weren't for Liverpool you would have 7 in a row.

This is some insane jinxing, not falling for it

Yeah because our lads don't put any effort in do they? Your post is a bit disrespectful to our players and Pep many of whom have overcome massive challenges to be successful - e.g. Kompany's battles against injury, David Silva playing whilst his son was fighting for his life and Bernado's struggles against Seasonal Affective Disorder ;)

Thats cause this Pep side and his sides in general do that to other teams. He turns his teams into machines that dont relent. Ask Liverpool in the season they lost by a point after going on that long winning streak.

Hard to feel optimistic when you guys have shown you can do it when you need to. Feels like we're hoping you drop point as opposed to expecting you to.

I get that. And it is largely true. And hopefully this is yet another example of that.

Still. 6 games left to play, and that'll be our attitude as far as we are concerned.

Not over by a long way, one game at a time, Brighton, although not in form, are a good team and will give us some problems, Forrest are fighting for their lives, Fulham gave us a hard game at their place last year and although we won at Spuds in the cup, we have never got anything there in the league. Then you throw in potential semi final in the CL and possible FA Cup final which could help or hinder, there are a lot more twists to come.

Arsenal and Liverpool fans throwing the towel in with 6 games to go.
We were 8 points behind at this stage in 2012.
TBF a lot of our fans thought it was all over at that point. But yes, it's silly doing it with 6 games and 2 points in it.
