Anyway, it didn‘t work. I’m taking nothing for granted but we now have the unexpected opportunity to go ahead tomorrow by 3 points AND goal difference. How crucial might that turn out to be?
I think this lifts the mood from Wednesday and the boys should be fired up nicely for the Newcastle game.

Can’t see it going to goal difference. We may very well draw a game (which we can now afford to do) but I don’t think we’ll lose any of them.We definitely need 4 wins now. We don’t want to limp over the line on goal difference.
