We might lose the tough games but win the others and we will qualify for the CL. Long way to go yet. Didn't need to win tonight, we do against Brugge. No need to have a meltdown over one result, the club bringing in two players already, with a third on the way should tell you that if we could sign a midfielder or two we would be. But we need top quality and not stop gaps.

What exactly does bringing Gundogan on accomplish??

Please tell me if you think I'm overreacting or misreading things but I don't see how we grind to top 4 with our current personnel in midfield.

If we hobble through February things might get better in the remaining 3 months. Wishful thinking on my part, but hope springs eternal.

We have lost the plot (Pep/Txixi) for whatever reason. Hopefully tonight has made them realise, but I've been saying that for months. Really thought we'd have addressed what we needed by early Jan. But instead we have focussed on inexperienced Centre Backs. I'm lost for words at the stupidity. God help us with the fixtures coming up, we need divine intervention.

Centre backs hmmm. Wonder why we need them?
Dias, Stones, Ake, Akanji. (Injuries)
That’s why. Clearly our two new guys have more potential than the youngsters we already have according to our director/s of football. We need full backs, midfield and a second striker too.
