If newly crowned European Champions Arsenal drop points at Ipswich we’re in the hunt for 2nd place.
NopeIf one of the English teams were to win Europa league, foes the 5th spot go to them over the league table?
3rd I reckon, have for a while, it’ll be close between us and Newcastle but think we’ll pip them. Don’t think we’ll be too far behind Arsenal either.I think we might just squeeze 5th, just feels like we are limping across the line.
How, by winning games.I think we might just squeeze 5th, just feels like we are limping across the line.
Could be asking the same question re Arsenal in a few weeks timeHow are we above NF? Lol.
Bonkers
Same, however it’s opened up the race for 3rd for us if we beat Villa TuesdayReally wanted a draw here, or a Newcastle win.
Big if, on their current form.Same, however it’s opened up the race for 3rd for us if we beat Villa Tuesday
Very true.Makes our win today even bigger this Villa-Ncastle result. Villa have been class, Newcastle have looked unrecognisable.
Erm, we definitely wouldn't have been 8th.Very true.
If we'd have let it run its course to a tame 0-0, we'd be 7th tonight, Chelsea win at Fulham putting us 8th. Leaving Villa Tues night as a must win or no CL.
There's always one critical result. I remember walking out after the comeback 3-3 home draw against Sunderland (3-1 down with 5 mins to go) thinking we'd blown it.
Without that single point, our Aguero moment never happens.
About that...Newcastle are battling for second with Arsenal. They aren’t in our chase for 5th.
Hang on...BRB.Erm, we definitely wouldn't have been 8th.
Yeah...6th then 7th.Hang on...BRB.
