It's great to see the big man with a smile on his face once again, but I fear there is an underlying problem waiting to explode.

I've watched our last 3 matches again very closely and the majority of our team, Bellamy in particular are being more than a bit cool towards Ade. When he scored at Burnley he ran to the sideline and turned toward the pitch with his arms raised and none of our players came to congratulate him.

Again on Sunday, when he scored his 1st goal, Bellamy ran towards the crowd and away from Ade. It was Ade who ran toward Bellers and Bellers gave him a high 5 and immediately jogged on towards Barry who the majority of the team were congratulating. Barry was the only one from that scrum of players who went anywhere near Ade to congratulate him.

Adebayor obviously had issues with the players, staff & fans at Arsenal and his attitude when he 1st came here was that of a player who thought we were beneath him. This was proved by the fact that after Arsenal accepted our bid that his agents secretly offered him to the Scum & Chelsea who wern't interested.

What happened to him at the ACN would have affected anyone, but what didn't endear him to many of us, and proved that his head was still in North London was seeing him being interviewed on TV with an Arsenal shirt on.

I think with all that has happened to him this season and the fact that his agent made a lame attempt to highlight Ade's availabilty to AC Milan last week who wern't interested, is it time for all to bury the hatchet and move on?

On Sunday Ade had the look of a player who has accepted that for now, Man City is as good as it's going to get for him and we might not have been that bad a move for him after all!!!! From what I can see, he has a lot of making up to do with his team mates for his 'Mightier than thou' attitude and to us fans for some of his lazy indeffent displays before the ACN incident, let's hope for all our sakes he does and that he can realise his full potential with us.

Can see where you are coming from but V Burnley remember when Bellers scored Ade "polished" his boot so they do celebrate together

This. Stop the panic.

1st v Burnley, all ran to him at the Corner flag.
2nd v Burnley, all greeted him after slotting home his 1 on 1.

1st v Brum, Well... Did you see the pass? All went to Barry.
2nd v Brum, all greeted him after slotting home his 1 on 1.

Both his 2nd goals were when we had already run away with the game, so you can understand the players for not going crazy. If he is putting in the effort, Bellamy will have no problem with him.

And that's my point. Ade runs to other players, but few of them seem to go near Ade with any affection when he scores, something's going on.

To be honest I did notice yesterday that Ade was open a few times and Tevez seemed to ignore him and tried to score himself but hopefully that's just down to Tevez wanting to up his number of goals rather than any trouble.

Like Bluemoonbaldboy said he did get involved with the celebrations and stuff and he looks genuinely happy to be playing for us. Also a big point would be that the papers would be all over this if there was a possibility of it being true.

Bet you think this is Everest.

Must of been hard for him seeing Arsenal do so well.. But if we achieve 4th then he can be very proud that he was a part of taking this club a HUGE step forward..

Forget about the goal celebration bollox - the issue is that Johnson (at least once in the last 3 games) Bellamy and Tevez have all wasted good goal opportunities by going it alone when Ade had got himself into an open unmarked position.

Ade is a predator - get the ball to him in the box and he will give you an excellent goal conversion rate.

He and Carlos seem to have started developing an excellent combination, to supplement the existing bellamy Tevez combination.

Just wait until we have Fabregas to feed them............................

I agree, though don't think there's anything more in it, other than they are so confident that they will score.... Tevez twice yesterday! He wants the golden boot!

I got a feeling he'll play a blinder next week against the rags. If they pay too much attention to Carlos then I reckon Ade will cause havoc. Can seeing him bagging at least one next week.

Complete shite. I was gonna start a thread on the unlikely friendship that seems to be bolossoming between Ade and Bellers funnily enough. Watching them yesterday I thought they ahd a lot of respect for each other and seemed to get on great

Yeh totally this. There was one where I was screaming at Tevez to pass to Ade, but you could tell he wanted another goal himself. Then when the next chance came along he tried to pass it to Ade to make up for it rather than go himself when it was more on to go solo.

likewise i could not see anything to suggest any kind of problems?

not surprising with all the troubles ade has had but it looks like we have finally got the ade we know -a quality forward who on the day is a match winner.
