The US Candidates Fight on Internet Grounds...

yeah. I saw that on newsnight and for balance they interviewed a republican who just released a book slagging Obama off. Kirsty wark wound him up with the question "You had this book ready to go. If Hilary Clinton was the preferred candidate all you'd do is change the name Obama to Hilary".

It also lead me onto that bravenews world site which I'm looking at this moment in time.

<a class="postlink" href="http://bravenewfilms.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" target="_blank">http://bravenewfilms.org/</a>

Can't work out if it's just pro democrat website or a social news site.

Yeah, I meant to have a look at that "Meet the Bloggers" site, but never had time. Cheers for the reminder, Mat! I believe this lot are 'liberals'. So, technically, shouldn't they be playing Devil's Advocate with both of them?

Just seen this on there, but it's a youtube reference...

I do believe this 'housing' episode may be the the one thing that brings McCain down! He's lied repeatedly about his own personal wealth, it would seem and is not really in tune with the US people. It seems the Republicans are merely rehashing old things(fears) about Obama and have nothing new! And the 'P.o.W.' thing has been done to death!

Such an innocuous question, as well! Didn't Nixon suffer a similar fate due to an innocuous question?

haven't really kept my eye on any of this, 8 years of bush has worn me out beyon belief. the house question was funny though. it seems like leading up to the campaign McCain was on the daily show every other week trying to reach out to the young but I think he might have un-did all of that. I do respect the fact that he doesn't always toe the party line and that he is firmly keeping the evangelicals in check I think (thank christ for that) but he still favors the heavy handed, agressive, neo-con foreign policy......for that my vote will go with Iraq O'sama....if Pocomoke peeps her head on here I'll get to try out this ignore function because I believe she had said how she hopes O'bama gets assassinated....nice girl.

I get the impression McCain is more hawkish than bush and i don't think he'd hesitate starting a new cold war or nuking Iran.

well I hope your wrong because the repub machine is getting behind him and he'll probably be president. when it comes to organized, character assisination politics, the repubs beat the demos by a mile every time. He's probably going to choose a VP who is socially conservative like bushy (mitt romney I think) then he'll probably die in office because he looks like he's dying anyway and we'll basically have Bush part II with romney,8 years of that asshole and then jeb bush will run.........i really hope i'm wrong but i have a bad feeling and zero faith in yank voters

I don't give a flying f**k who the next president is. They'll both carry on the US policy to subjugate the world.

The man is a war mongerer. Just seems like he wants revenge on certain parts of the world, to me!

without even clicking your link I bet its the "bomb-iran"/"barbra-ann" song

No.

It's various news clips about him saying he'd be happy to stay in iraq for 100 years and some of the lies he's been caught out telling by the mainstream media.
