When I heard Fergusons comments I thought the old pisscan had been on it again, but having seen the goal he's not far wrong.

It was a good volley, but that one for Arsenal against Everton takes some beating by his standards. The one v Charlton was good also. There have been better goals scored mind.

This. It was just a straight forward volly. It was good dont get me wrong but it wasnt anywhere near the best ever Prem goal.
Not by a long shot.

Not for me. The best goal can't be scored when a player is in a offside position. No denying the technique though

That sums it up very well, and this whole thing encapsulates why the Rags are so hated - it was certinly a great goal, but that isn't enough for them it has to be the best goal ever, which it wasn't.

No denying it was a superb take, as that technique is hard as fuck. Not the best in the PL though.
Di Canio's was better.
Sharpe's was better in the early 90's. (might have been before PL)
