The Walking Dead

Dont know about Brummies but if I was going to suggest a level of IQ that certain posters need to attain, it wouldnt be a lowly as the one you did, when talking about Bladerunner.

Paraphrasing Walter White, I wouldnt be in the line up, I'd be the one who knocks, you'd be crying with all the other bitches on their knees though.

Yeah, I realised torture was so 13th century many moons ago, best left to those who play call of duty etc.... It says something though when you and Jim are watching and enjoying the same genre of film for its 'intellectual' content..... Walters not real (:

The story was lost in them trying to shock so much. It's gone to the extent that there was no empathy for them at all ...IMO at least. The series just gets worse and worse. It's a chore to watch. I'm very close to not bothering anymore.

It seems to me that they have given up on telling an actual story and instead they are just satisfying the diehards who'll accept anything once the show keeps going.

I'll give it 1 or 2 more but if there's not a chink of "hope" I'll do myself a favour and find something else for a Monday night.

Not really a zombie show anymore is it? Unless there's 1000's of them no-one is bothered by them.

Also why are there still so many zombies when there's probably thousands upon thousands of survivors and they have each killed countless amounts of zombies and seeing as there doesnt seem to be zombies under the age of 18 or above 60 you'd think their numbers would have dwindled by now aha. Stupid addictive show

Why am I still watching? I don't get any enjoyment out of it.

Unlike GoT's, that also has lots of death and gore, there is no 'hope' and it's just everyone dies, everything's fucked and depressing as hell.

I think only the diehards and fans of the comic get anything out of it, so I'm out.

It is closely following the original comic series apparently, so in that respect it is still telling the story of TWD .... but I can see where you are coming from. I almost gave up on it two series back, but glad I stuck with it, as got back into watching.

Last night's episode was brutal, but there are many sick f*cks like Negan out there, that are reigned in to a thin veneer of being civilised by society ... and once that society breaks down ... boom.
Which is also what TWD is more about now than the zombies, in many ways they are a secondary problem to the 'bad guys' .....
