Not sure mate as I didn't jump the sinking ship (even though I nearly did every week for 2 years) so i'm up to date and have always watched it weekly on Sky and not binged.

They did a 6 year jump so anyone who got sick of the whole Negan war can pick it up again at the start of season 9.

In season 9 it ends the war and jumps 6 years... So yeah, restart on S9 E1 and by E6 you should be enjoying it again.

Sounds about right to me. Not seen this week's yet, and I think there have been some decisions/changes this season which will take time to work through.

Agree. The re-boot, and probably getting rid of Rick, has helped. Intrigued as to what will happen to Negan and whether he will become integrated. And the new threat is interesting.

Yeah after it they time jumped to the present story which has improved greatly.

No coincidence scott gimple isn't overseeing it anymore directly, moved onto fear which went a bit shit after he took over
