So who's getting this game this week?

It's receiving universal critical acclaim and has already topped 1,000,000 pre-orders.

I've never played The Witcher 1 or 2 but I know that CD Projekt Red are a great developer. The game will be highly polished and the standard edition comes with loads of extras like a soundtrack CD.

Not enjoyed an RPG since Skyrim, DA: Inquisition just got stale after 20 hours. Hope this'll be like Skyrim in terms of content and replayability.

Already got it on pre order on my xbox and its its waiting to unlock on Tuesday. Looks fantastic. I would recommend to read the back story of the witcher series just so you can familiarise yourself with the characters as they are a lot. Also this will be nothing like skyrim. Every decision you make will effect the game world and sometimes there are no right or wrong choices. You have to learn your enemies tactics as each one is different. You can't just hack and slash and even on normal level the game is very unforgiving. Be patient and you will be hugely rewarded. Main quest takes about 50 hours but your looking at 200 hours plus to do everything in the game. Cant wait. Reviews have been 9's or 10's across the board and its a definite contender for game of the year

Never played a witcher game before but really looking forward to it. Looks amazing.

I'm not in to fantasy games but I've seen the first couple of hours of gameplay and it looks awesome, developers have done a great job.

what a bugger, you can't bind arrow keys to movement in game menu. You have to open the profile save file on your PC and edit the keybinds manually.

for those that want to use arrow keys to move, use this guide on how to rebind manually in profile (.INI file) >>>> <a class="postlink" href="http://www.gosunoob.com/witcher-3/how-to-rebind-keys-in-witcher-3/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.gosunoob.com/witcher-3/how-t ... witcher-3/</a>

I'm on PS4, only just finished the introduction. It looks beautiful so far and the music is epic (great that they include a OST CD).

Only issue is the frame rate freezing and the load times are ridiculous, like a couple of minutes long. I know the PS4 is limited hardware wise but surely more patches are incoming to improve this.

I'm on ps4 too. Just about to attack the first big creature.
It's been a tiny bit choppy right at th start but I've been seriously impressed with the lack of loading.
Did you wait till the patch came out? I played at around 13:00 today and it installed a patch straight away.

I'm playing on Xbox one and the loading times are really fast. About 5 seconds. Have you downloaded the patch. Just about to fight the griffin. Really enjoying it so far. There's shop much to do on the first map and Gwent is a good card game

games pretty good at the moment, I've just beat the Griffen(in a fashion) There is just so much content and upgrading shit that it's a bit confusing at the moment... skyrim was mush easier to get to grips with early on in the game plus the fighting and camera angles are poor compared to Skyrim and other RPG, never played the other 2 so that might be why I'm finding it a bit confusing..

Playing on Ps4, just finished the first flashback scene as Ciri, few hours in now and i love it. Having not played a witcher game before it can be a bit overwhelming at the start with a lot to get used to but i much prefer that rather than having it dumbed down. Stuck it straight on the hardest difficulty which means you can't just smash your way through enemies, you die an awful lot but it's refreshing it's not just a walk in the park.

Just done the Griffin part but the game looms sublime, a few frame rate issues but other than that I've been impressed. How long is the game supposed to be?

looking at the maps and all side quest fcuking months of game play
