Theo Walcott

The lack of genuinely high quality English strikers is worrying. Rooney is definitely one but is there anyone else? Defoe had a good season but isn't great, Bent can't seem to do it at international level. Crouch isn't bad though in his role and can serve a purpose. Heskey must be Capello's secret lover.

Sturridge, Welbeck, Delfouneso, Carroll, and then unknowns like our David Ball <--- are any of these going to be World Cup level forwards?
