Theo Walcott? ..

Brilliant tonight, his finishing has improved and he still gets a lot of assists. Used to call him a headless chicken like the rest and he still does stupid stuff, but seems a lot better these days.

So would we be looking at selling Tevez as Walcott obviosly wants and does play better down the middle. ?

Otherwise i don't see how we could accomodate him.

No, sell Balotelli.

Tin hat firmly placed. Walcott is scoring and assisting. David Silva however...

I'm actually questioning my own thoughts right now, I honestly think I've just suggest Walcott over Silva.

Christ.

Absolute no-brainer. Pacy English who can give us the width and counterattacking ability we need, for next to nothing. On his day, he changes games like few others can. He's not even in his prime yet.
Just having him, Scott Sinclair (or a better winger in the future such as Bale) and Dzeko (or maybe Falcao) would give us such a different dimension.

Turn off the internet and go to bed without any supper.

Would be great, provides goals, assists and, above all, pace. Imagine him whipping in the crosses for Edin?

If he hasn't solved his contract issue, when can we talk to him about a possible Bosman? An Ideal replacement for Mario if we decide to sell in January.

Always thought Theo was shite with crosses.

-- Sun Dec 30, 2012 4:34 am --

Lad just bagged a hat-trick.

His comments today tell you what his #2 demand (after £100k/week) at his new club will be: "I’m showing the boss what I can do. I was bought as a striker and I always believe I am a striker.”

Scores a lot of his goals on the counter. Don't know how productive he'd be for us when we spend 80% of the match camped around the opponents goal passing it back and forth.

There will be a few clubs sniffing round him in January but not many who can pay him what we can.

Surely this has to be worth a look. He could be the missing pace we need.

If we have to sacrifice balotelli then so be it.

He was always a better striker than winger. Everyone in the world could see that except Wenger and his blindness has cost him yet another player. We really could use some pace in our team but will we want to come here and compete with 2-3 other strikers when he could go to another club and be their star man, playing every game.
