Thieves dig tunnel to steal from Salford cash machine

I seem to remember reading an article at the time of the Fallowfield robbery where they only got £6k which calculated the man hours it must have taken to dig the tunnel and worked out they'd have been better off flipping burgers for minimum wage!

Reloaded with 25k bricks every 3 days, or so I'm told (:

I'd hazard a guess that there was more than 1 machine? tesco especially like 3/4 on site

Anyway, tinkers (:
Nah, Tinkers would have badly tarmacked the tunnel floor

But you forget they would've been self employed and didn't declare it on their tax return plus you can add a whopping £150.00 a fortnight JSA, rent free 3 bed council house with 90" tv on the wall.

Try getting all that working at McD's

I know which I'd rather.

From the Beeb website.....

Police said they were looking for "people acting suspiciously, possibly covered in soil".
