I remember my granddad tucking into tripe for his dinner in the 1970s, does anyone still eat it?

There used to be various stalls selling it in Ashton market, but I haven't been there for years and they are probably all long gone?

Still sell it on stalls in the indoor market, trotters and Pigs heads as well if you ask

Wonder what that fourth button was for on the telly.
Leave the metal bin with rubber lid in the back yard and let the binmen come and get it, empty it and put it back.
Have only one phone in the house. In the hall. And it was only ever snot green, red, dark blue or off white.
Drive on three pints.
Tape the Top 40 off the radio

And finally we never worried about being politically correct. Because everything WAS politically correct back then.

Cheers, must pop in sometime and see what its like nowadays. Haven't been to the market hall for 20+ years, and it burned and has been rebuilt since then.
