Still use them (but cheat in that I use cartridge ones rather that an ink pot). They are just better, the flow of the ink onto the paper gives me a sense of well-being. Maybe I am odd.

I remember at senior school, we didn’t have ‘fountain or cartridge’ pens. We had a bit of wood with a nib on the end, our desks had ink wells which the teacher topped up with ink (Quink). 1970
