When the dog's head opens up in The Thing. I was watching on the colour TV downstairs up until that point but then decided to watch the rest of the film in bed on the black and white portable! With my pillow.
I remember when one flew over Warrington, not long after the Falklands Conflict had finished. I thought the huge windows in my mum and dad's house were going to smashI saw that pass over Heaton Park airshow when I was 3 in 1970, and I'm still shaking now.
