Things they could repeat on TV

Press Gang
Aforementioned Goodies, josie’s giants, Blake’s 7, a very peculiar practise
Rentaghost series 1, possibly 2
The adventure game
Dangermouse (‘si baroni’)
Aubrey
Series 1-2 of Big brother (before it became wannabe celeb city)

The Dukes of Hazzard

Been watching re-runs on 'Forces TV'. Daisy Duke was my favourite.

I have. Also Miami Vice and Starsky and Hutch. Neither have aged well. I expected the latter not to but was disappointed how poor Miami Vice actually was. Think I only watched for cars and sunshine and tunes they squeezed in.

For a decent amount of the shows mentioned, you can get them legitimately via the use of various different on demand players. All 4 has a great box set catalogue completely for free if you can deal with their crappy player

I actually think it’s a great idea. As much as I love some shows, they’re shown far too often on tv to the point where their greatness is diminished, sticking with Channel 4, something like the inbetweeners for example is on too often. if Peter Kay allowed it you know his entire C4 back catalogue would be rinsed constantly on the likes of E4.

Daniel Kitson who played Spencer in Phoenix nights is a comedian I like, I was surprised to hear a few years ago how much he hates the show and regrets doing it.
100% agree and case in point is his comedy shuffle programme on bbc 1. Funny but I’m fed up of seeing it, to the point it’s repetitive and doesn’t make me laugh the same. Too much and it can put you off acts that you like.

Me too.
As a Genesis fan (I MIGHT have mentioned this, before) I re-watched the MV episode with Phil Collins a year or so ago. Collins was the episode's saving grace. Poor acting. Tubbs was more wooden than my dining room table. Virtually the same storyline, each week. It was (as a teenager in the early to mid 80's ) one of those programmes you were expected to watch, along with Fame. Now that WAS fucking awful. An hour's worth of sickly American morality (apologies to any lurking Yanks).

Journey In To The Unknown. Just before bed. It used to give me nightmares as a teenager.
