Yesterday channel shows that. Just watched it tonight.

Oh I wouldn’t watch it.
Just seemed obvious it was something they could repeat on tv.

That was a good laugh in the 80s but I have zero desire to ever watch it all over again.

As a Genesis fan (I MIGHT have mentioned this, before) I re-watched the MV episode with Phil Collins a year or so ago. Collins was the episode's saving grace. Poor acting. Tubbs was more wooden than my dining room table. Virtually the same storyline, each week. It was (as a teenager in the early to mid 80's ) one of those programmes you were expected to watch, along with Fame. Now that WAS fucking awful. An hour's worth of sickly American morality (apologies to any lurking Yanks).

Was that when he was a quiz show host? I had to turn that off this week it was that bad.

Never watched a Fame thankfully!

Yes, he played a Quiz Show host called Phil the Shill, who was very dodgy The character's names for that episode's show, all had a Genesis .connection.

Fame was staggeringly bad. All the "cool kids" at school were obsessed with it. I lasted about 2 episodes. Syrupy, schmaltzy shite
