Injuries, losses, VAR decisions have seriously dampened the mood for many City fans.

But there are nice things to look forward to this season.

First, we expect Laporte and Sane back in February or even late January. Give them 5-6 weeks to regain form and then, hopefully without other bad injuries, we will be a formidable unit for the final stages of the competitions, especially the CL.

Second, we know that we have in Foden a world class midfielder in the making. Despite all the gloom about his playing time and status, he will get chances and is about to explode as a top top player.

Third, our new signings are finding their feet in England and can only get better. Rodri is a bit understimated on here, he is brilliant. It's not his fault we have been a bit shaky in defence. Cancelo's ceiling is really high, he is a top player. Angelino is underrated. People judging him on 2 starts and dismissing his ability are really harsh on him. With Cancelo and Angelino (or hopefully Mendy) we can be devastating on the flanks, our attack may get new dimensions.

Fourth, we have a lot of players who are on the verge of entering their prime and hopefully getting even better: Raz, Bernardo, Jesus, Ederson, Stones, Laporte, Cancelo, Angelino.. Raz is on the verge of becoming one of the very best players in the world. Can he get even better and become the best player in the world? Same with Bernardo, who can only get better this season and might be a proper magician for us, apart from covering most distance in the league. Gabby can only get better. He is another one who is being judged harshly by many City fans. His goals per minutes ratio is better than Van Nistelrooy's (!) and he is just 22 y.o. Ederson is another one who can establish himself as the best in the world in his position.

Finally, Kevin. He started the season brilliantly, but got injured. Now he is regaining form and will hopefully give us many magnificent performances this season.

Plenty of things to look forward to.

Thanks for making me feel better, hope you are right, hope they take drugs mentality now and stuff them all

They say the trophies changed City and their fans. It didn't. Mr Awkward still revels in his anti-hero. Once it was Bert Trautmann, then the little boxer Franny Lee, and soldier M. Doyle. Today Raheem holds the colours. I look forward to welcoming the man back.

Loads to be excited about. As fans, we can't undervalue how lucky we are to watch one of the best teams in world football, ever. We can win 4 trophies.

We need to get behind the team.

We have obvious issues at the back and with injuries, but we are more than capable of winning the title from this position.

As another poster stated, we need a siege mentality from everyone involved. As fans we need to get the Etihad rocking EVERY single game, we need to be 100% behind the team and fuck everyone else!!!

We have done this before and can do it again, despite the problems we have. We are Man City, we fight til the end!
