Phoned into picc 261 to win a signed Dennis Taylor book... question was what Tournament had he just won.

Got through and said the Rothmans. The bugger wanted the full name Rothmans Grand Prix. I couldn't remember the last bit.

Gutted :(
 
I heard of someone who got to the final of best neighbour in the 'hood award, though rumour has it he was arrested before the day. So close, yet so far...
 
Key 103 were giving away a 2 week holiday in Oz mid 90's... Was ringing each day but never got through.
On the Friday I got through on the phone and was one of the 6 with a chance to win and caller number 3.
5 questions you had to get right.
Caller 1 fucked up and I was praying for caller 2 to do the same.....she didn't (and I knew all the questions she was given.)
Was gutted lol

I had been drinking Stella to be fair to myself. And vodka...maybe a couple of gins? But whose counting? And I only butted that Cop after he hit me.
