you cannot play like barca or madrid or even the milans of this world in the premiership.
the game here is played at least 3 times faster and ten times more ferocious.
they get the ball over their and have 5 to 10 seconds to think about the pass here your getting tackled as the ball gets to you somtimes before.if hughes wants to play this possesion game then he should go abroad.

there are a number of teams in the prem who play the passing game and still manage to make their opponents look foolish(arsenal spring to mind). in fact i would say that to win the prem you have to have a team that can play all ways when the occasion demands.
the italian and spanish leagues are so pedestrian, they are nice to watch technically but have no real excitement content.
