In a world of my own.
They know no limits in their quest to destabilise MCFC - The cheeky fuckers thought they were quids in!!!!!!!!!!!

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/view/168109/Manchester-City-s-megabucks-stars-leave-a-1-48-tip/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/view/16 ... -1-48-tip/</a>?

MANCHESTER City’s filthy rich stars showed they really are a tight squad – by tipping restaurant staff a measly £1.48 each at the club’s Christmas party.

The miserly mob didn’t give too much away as they tackled the tab at posh Piccolino’s Italian restaurant.

Despite many of the megabucks stars trousering more than £100,000 a week, Mean City couldn’t even pass the £2 mark – leaving the starry-eyed staff feeling the Blues.

The tip for the party of more than 20 millionaire aces averaged out at just £1.48 a head.

A stunned insider said: “As soon as we heard Manchester City players were coming we thought happy days. Quids in.

“Virtually all of the big names were there and it’s no secret how much these guys earn.

“A tenner-a-head tip would have bought the staff drinks all night.

“It’s a drop in the ocean for these players.

“The bill came to more than 400 quid but the tip they left was a joke.

“It worked out to £1.48 a head. I pay more than that when I’m in Nando’s.

“I’ll tell you what they are. They’re Meanchester City!”

City’s pampered players swooped on the eaterie in swish Hale, Cheshire, dressed in bright spotted outfits for the festive fancy dress bash after their 1-0 victory over Bolton at Eastlands early this month.

England stars Shaun Wright-Phillips, Adam Johnson, Gareth Barry, Joleon Lescott and Joe Hart plus internationals Vincent Kompany, Nigel De Jong and Yaya Toure were among the players who feasted on squid starters and pasta mains.

They then hit the bar at flash nightclub Suburbia where they necked Greygoose Vodka cocktails.

Piccolino’s manager Luigi Lanzotti, 46, stayed tight-lipped on the tip shocker, saying: “They all had Italian food, sharing garlic bread and squid for starters and pasta and salad for main course, very healthy.

“They had a selection of wines with the meal. The bill was normal for a party of this size. It was a nice meal and a nice night out for the lads.”

what a pathetic story
it even happened two weeks ago

is there nothing better in the news at the moment?
The UK grinding to a halt due to bad weather
supermarket shelves not being stocked up
mail not getting through

no the biggest story is the tip paid in a restaurant

There'd of been a service charge for a large party included in the bill, so the Star can go and F**k themselves.

Another link helping a no mark paper spread its poison. The worrying thing is that some on here will believe it.

bill of over £400 for more than 20 = £20 per head in a "posh" restaurant.
What a load of sh*te
Rag Restaurant Rag Staff Rag paper

I know it's the Daily Star but that's the attitude from the worker which makes people think twice about tipping. If we want to tip we will do, perhaps the players thought you were a shit waiter/barman.
