This sums us up....

Your usual pointless, semantic, pedantic response.

I'd rather discuss football than personalities, but if you want to keep talking about me then be my guest.

You mean the "red bastards" who have won the Premier League 10 times, the FA Cup 5 times, the League Cup twice and the Champions League twice? Because their manager would not settle for second best, mediocrity, half-hearted performances and unprofessionalism? (It was old whisky-nose by the way.)

I think it has every relevance to us at the moment.

If I became manager and didn't accept second best, mediocrity, half hearted performances and unprofessionalism would that make me a good one?

The Hughes PR has worked a charm, all of a sudden our problems are wholly and solely down to unprofessional players, and no-one is even questioning the managers performances. It amazing what a few carefully chosen leaks can achieve.

One thing I find very amusing, those that were arguing not that long ago that our performances were not so bad, because we've been unlucky and had a few dodgy refs are now very quiet. I guess it suits some people to paint our players the same way Hughes has tried to paint them.

It hasn't worked a charm at all moomba where it really matters and that is to people who want and expect results commensurate with the squad we have.

If Hughes is a lame duck when it comes to managing a group of players low on confidence and low on motivation and self belief then no matter who he gets in from now on it will not help the side on match days.

His biggest test is still to come and quite frankly he needs to change a lot of things about himself more than anything else if he is going to pass it at this club.

It's got to be ferguson.

And its about this time when people say that it took him 3 years to achieve success, he was one game from the sack etc etc.

You started it taking about yourself as manager. You got the response that comment deserved.

It would be unlikely that you or I would make a good manager regardless of our approach because we have no experience. Similarly we would both run ourselves into the ground if Hughes gave us a shirt and put us in the team. But we wouldn't be any good. If you really want to discuss football then do so.
