I agree with the last two comments as well. Losing a Derby with the team we had in the middle of a Champions League tie is not a big deal for me, because I know we play it again with a fresh team and full squad we would decimate them. However we're not quite as good as we thought. We're not where Barcelona, Real Madrid etc are, but I think most knew that.
Utd game is irrelevant in the bigger picture. We know perfectly well why we lost it. Utd are not the better side. Far from it, but we need to go through those big games until we can hit some adversity and be able to play through it unaffected. It's big game experience. We also need to develop technically as a squad. Left back cover, and a forward is an issue. You saw yesterday why we needed Mahrez.
It amuses me that people who make comments like this and who get rubbished often turn out to be right yet time and again people on this forum rubbish other blues for just speaking their mind. You should listen to alternative points of view and consider them. The shine has definitely been taken off this season, although we are still by far the leading club in English football, and ahead of where we have a right to expect to be in what is Guardiola's 2nd season. We might yet turn the Liverpool tie around too. Not impossible.
