He's doing what Pulis has ALWAYS done - turned a footballing side into a bunch of hoof and hope thugs. Two sendings off yesterday, and they should have a man sent off last week if I remember correctly?
People go on about the likes of Pulis and Fat Sam 'keeping the team in the Prem', but at the cost of turning their respective clubs into a Sunday morning pub team. Hughes is beginning to help Stoke shed the awful image they had under Pulis, but it's going to take a long, long time for them to banish the ghost of the long-ball/thuggish reputation they had. And the same will happen to WBA. A decent enough club with a fairly good reputation, gradually being tarnished by Pulis and his 'kick-fuck-out-of-the-opposition' tactics. A fine example yesterday was Rondon. Already down to 10 men and he does something so fucking stupid like that.
 
Must be very confusing for Watford fans.

imagine being told in August that you'd be 10 points ahead of Chelsea at christmas ? You'd have been quite happy with that, but imagine being told you'd be 10 points behind Leicester at christmas, you'd have been slitting your wrists, yet as things stand that's exactly the position they'll be in.

Did anyone mention football was a funny old game ?
