Yep, great movement from Sturridge

Is that taken at the moment the ball was released or as BT interpret it a couple of seconds before?

Sturridge sale up there with the "best" shenanigans of the Swales era. Stupid to let him go.

He didn't want to stay. And the way Clueless treated him I don't blame him.

No real consistency for us or Chelski. He's having a good season, that is all. Probably be back to frustrating next season.

These games always annoy me cos Liverpool will dick West Brom and Arsenal will dick Palace but you then get their fans getting giddy saying how they're going to win the league cos of that performance forgetting the piss poor quality of the team they just beat.

Let's not forget he had a broken leg and was out for most of his contract. He came back, scored a couple of goals and started demanding £100K per week - as he'd already been tapped up by Chelsea. Hughes told him where to go and we offered him our going rate for a recently arrived player with potential but he had a better offer from Chelsea.

Not much we could have done other than cave into every young wannabe that comes banging on the manager's door for a massive pay rise.

He had to move on and see the grass is not always greener. He's probably a better person and consequently a better player now. It was a learning curve he had to go up. It just wasn't meant to be his having a career at City.

hold on, was he not demanding 100k a week...after a handful of goals in a few games. this when some people who won the league three times were still only on 70k!

dont get me wrong i would have liked for him to stay.....but it has taken this long since he left us to come this good. dont think we would win a thing with him just yet, mind!

better we parted.

Dunno where your getting £100k from I think Chelsea offered him £40k and we wouldn't match it.
