as spikes not doing a day trip ive had to use thomas cook for the first time , done everything on line so not actually spoke to anyone - the trip includes match ticket , so do they send out the match tickets to your house and do you still get the loyalty points , finally i'd always give spikes trips 10/10 , what are TC's like, heard a few bad reports?

you get your match ticket on the plane.

Trips have been good from my point of view

Yes you get the points

No they dont send the ticket to your house - they hand them out on the plane

Looking at booking onto this on my own. None of my mates can get anymore time off work!

Anyone know the flight times as when I last checked it stated midnight flight time. Surely must be incorrect for a daytrip?

That was because they hadn't fixed a time then, TC flights are usually 7am-ish give or take half an hour.

Not booked On Thomas Cook yet - mainly because someone I spoke to one the way back from QPR told me Day trippers are going to get taken to holding area and will not be allowed to roam freely - anyone know if this is true ?

For Munich there were 2 or three flights I think. 7am then 7;30am
the tickets are allocated on the plane by a young lady in a city blazer.

if you want ot stay with other people for the day just ask around, we're all blues.

transfers all good. I recommend the trip.

Don't make any errors with your application, details or loyalty points. You'll loose your booking and you'll be finding out real late to get other flights/ticket.

According to other sites - FSF - the holding area may well be the port where they recomend away fans to congregate. They then escort fans to the ground from there. Might be wrong though!

I spoke to them on Monday, was told that they hadnt yet decided whether fans would be dropped off in the centre of Naples or taken to a "Fanzone"

I cant make a 2 day trip so its this trip or nothing. Cant say I'm as bothered about the social side for this match. Obviously I dont want to be sat just twiddling my thumbs for several hours, but not bothered about going round Naples. Hope its not completely "dry" but really I just want to be in the ground when, hopefully, we qualify for the KO stages.

As someone else pointed out, you do need to make sure that they take all your details correctly. For the Bayern match, when I booked over the phone, they took down my supporter number incorrectly and cancelled me when the club told them I wasnt eligible. Didnt get to know until 2 days before the game. They're giving me a free match ticket for this match in compensation.
